The European Open Golf Tournament is set for 28 – 31 May 2009 at the The London Golf Club in Kent. This is the second consecutive European Open Golf Tournament at the London Golf Club. The tournament was hosted for 13 years by the K-Club in Ireland.  The London Golf Club is the second Kent golf course to host a PGA European Tour event since the first season of the in 1972.

The distinguished London Golf Club opened its doors in 1994 featuring two excellent golf courses:  The Heritage - a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course - and The International designed by Ron Kirby.

Jack Nicklaus Signature Heritage Golf Course

The Heritage Golf Course will be the playing field for the 2009 European Open Golf Tournament. The Signature championship course is situated on the highest altitude in Kent on a large open area with relatively little cover from surrounding trees - which means golfers often have to factor strong winds into their play. The course contains four big water features and narrow fairways.
